The Riese & Müller Multicharger is a cargo optimised e-bike in a sporty all-terrain style. With only a slightly longer wheel base than the Charger, Riese & Muller have created an ebike that can be a cargo carrier without losing the agility and manoeuvrability of a standard ebike - 'the pickup truck of ebikes' as the judging panel of the Design & Innovation Awards describes it.
The Bosch CX motor delivers plenty of power for those loaded up trips and if you dream of riding higher and further, the Multicharger with the standard frame can also carry a second battery if you choose. Check out Riese & Muller's carefully designed accessory options as well and the Multicharger GX Touring version if you plan some offroad adventures. All up this is an ebike that can do everything - from long range touring to being your urban family transporter and commuter. Available in three versions.
Love to ride? Our sustainable future. Riese & Muller's commitment to encouraging sustainable mobility is evident in the design of the Riese & Muller Multicharger, as are the high standards they set for themselves and their bikes. Lovers of cycling themselves, creating an ebike that is as agile and fun to ride as a standard bike, looks like a normal bike with the battery fully integrated, and can also double as a long-range cargo is ingenious. And puristic. In every aspect of the Riese & Muller Multicharger there is evidence of thoughtfulness towards purpose and the components that have been chosen to do the hard work are perfect for the task at hand. Comfort. Handling and balance. Durability. Performance. Safety. Fun. It's all there. Winner 2019 Design & Innovation Award and an ebike that has created a new genre. What are you waiting for?
Flexible load transport. Like most Riese & Muller ebikes, the Multicharger cargo ebike is powered by the Bosch Performance Line CX system which is fantastic when you are carrying heavy loads, and particularly on long steep hills or in heat like in Brisbane. It comes equipped with excellent front and and rear lighting so carrying your family home in the dark is not a problem, and it is designed to suit a wide range of rider sizes. The rear carrier is 64.5cm long and can carry up to two children or an adult up to 60kg. See the optional Riese & Muller passenger kit. Alternatively, the optional Riese & Muller-designed 33l pannier bags are especially designed to carry a multitude of things - shopping, laptop, keys, a spare battery. The bike comes with the front carrier as standard to carry the smaller things and also an Abus Bordo lock to safely stow your ebike when unattended.
Riese & Muller offer the Multicharger in three models - the Multicharger Light, the Multicharger Vario and the all-terrain Multicharger GX Touring. Read more on what the model names mean and the tech underpinning them here >>.
The gents and mixte frames are one size and you have the choice of two colours - pearl white or utility grey. There is also the option to accessorise your ebike with your choice of the passenger kit or panniers. With the gents frame can also choose whether you want to add a second battery (there isn't enough room in the Mixte frame). Go to the Riese & Muller website to see the full range of configuration options and detailed specifications, geometry and prices for the Multicharger gents model and the Multicharger Mixte models.

The Dyson Hard Tail Evo electric bike is a hugely popular entry-level all-rounder. It is a very smart and handsome looking electric bike with its fully enclosed battery and has an excellent electric drive system. With 27.5” wheels and mountain bike tyres this is an ebike that doubles very ably as a commuter and a light offroad ebike. The Dyson Hard Tail is now offered in two configurations and you can choose between the lower priced 11Ah battery / 8-speed version or the 15Ah / 9-speed version which offers a longer range and is heavier duty if you plan on doing more offroad.
The RTC is based on the Hard Tail Evo 15Ah model, which has hydraulic disc brakes, and adds a handy rear rack, mudguards and integrated lights, including rear brake lights. Dyson have also changed over to a 29er front fork to provide extra clearance from the tires to avoid any rubbing when the going gets muddy.
A lovely looking ebike with its slimline integrate frame, the Dyson Hard Tail Evo and Mixte RTC models are excellent value and are a fun and exhilarating ride. Perfect for someone looking for a premium entry level ebike that can do it all.
