The Smartmotion X-City has all the extras that you expect with the E-City - integrated lights, mudguards, chainguard, rear carry rack, kickstand - and its sturdy frame provides good stability. Having the motor mounted in the cranks adds to the handling capability. The 2.35 Nobby Nic tyres give plenty of grip and comfort and having MD35 rims provides plenty of strength. Hydraulic disc brakes will pull you up when it need it most and you will love having a great range of 10 gears when it comes to the hills.
An eBike System that will keep you going...and going
Power and speed when you want it. The Smartmotion X-City is powered by the Japanese-made Dapu motor, a highly respected motor for its outright power and speed. An optional thumb throttle gives you plenty of options but you will love riding the pedal assist. Like the SmartMotion Pacer, you can toggle between the cadence mode and torque mode depending on the ride feel you want.
A generous 15.6Ah battery sits neatly into the rear rack and offers up to 150km range, depending on your riding modes. Superior weather proofing adds to its capability and a handy USB charge port means you can get yourself home again if you need your smartphone navs.
