The Kalkhoff Entice 5 e-bike range is a new range for Kalkhoff. Kalkhoff have taken inspiration from the fast rolling 28" inch trekking-style ebikes and crossed it with a mountain bike style to develop a new category, the sports utility ebike. The Trapeze model has a lower sloping top tube for more room in the cockpit for smaller riders. The Entice 5B Move benefits from cleverly added components such as kickstand and lights to turn an agile and robust mountain-bike style ebike into a more practical and useable ebike for everyday use.

The German-made Kalkhoff Entice 5 electric bike range benefits from Kalkhoff's integrated frame platform and some lovely styling. The Entice 5B ebike is powered by the renowned Bosch Performance Line motor and Kalkhoff have designed a beautiful frame that fully integrates the large 500Wh battery and all the cabling. This has created a streamlined, clean look similar to a conventional bicycle. Furthermore the Entice 5B has Kalkhoff's exclusive “one piece” handlebar/stem with tapered head tube to add to the minimalist look and to also provide an adjustable stem to assist with the fine tuning of your ergonomics without adding cost.
Although this Trapeze model has a lower-sloping downtube, it is still essentially a mountain bike with fast rolling 28" wheels and practical extras to make it more useable everyday. For example, extra-bright 50lux front headlights, a bright rear light which both powered by the ebike battery and a kickstand for when you pull up and want to leave your bike. It also has mounts for a rear rack and mudguards should you wish to add them later.
The frame includes torsionally-stiff thru axles for more stable when braking or cornering and the robust 9-speed gearing system provides excellent gear range as well as durability. Designed as a sports utility vehicle you will have plenty of fun putting this ebike through its paces.
