The Smartmotion MidCity 24 electric bike is the smaller wheeled version of the very popular SmartMotion MidCity ebike. With its 24" wheels and the same exceptional climbing power and comfort, this ebike offers a fantastic option for smaller riders. It has a low stepthrough frame for ease of riding, mid-drive motor for balance, a large battery for up to approx. 100km range and plush saddle with balloon tires for additional ride comfort. Equipped with all the extras too this ebike offers excellent value.

Great value city ebike for smaller riders
Plush comfort with unstoppable climbing power. The SmartMotion Mid City 24 is built on the same comfort platform and running gear as the Smartmotion eCity, with the exception that it has a powerful mid-mounted motor. Perfect if you live in a very hilly area or have a long commute. Mounting the motor in the cranks makes the bike nicely balanced so you can take those pesky hills at speed and feel comfortable. Hydraulic disc brakes will pull you up fast at the bottom of the hills if you need it.
The Smartmotion Mid City 24 is the smaller-wheeled version of the MidCity models and offers excellent value for smaller riders looking for a stylish, strong and simple machine. It comes fully equipped with fully integrated lights, mudguards, chainguard and centre mounted kickstand, and the wooden platform on the rear carry rack is a nice extra touch. A comfortable range of 8 gears provides plenty of gearing options and the balloon Big Ben tires add to the comfort package whilst providing good puncture protection for city riding.

Power and speed when you want it. The Smartmotion MidCity 24 is powered by the Japanese-made Dapu motor, a highly respected motor for its outright power and speed. Like the Smartmotion MidCity and Smartmotion X-City, you can toggle between the cadence mode and torque mode depending on the ride feel you want.
A generous 15.6Ah battery sits neatly into the rear rack and offers up to 100km range, depending on your riding modes. Superior weather proofing adds to its capability and a handy USB charge port means you can get yourself home again if you need your smartphone navs.

It is a very smart and handsome looking electric bike with its fully enclosed battery and has an excellent electric drive system. With 27.5” wheels and mountain bike tyres this is an ebike that doubles very ably as a commuter and a light offroad ebike.
