Uniquely universal. More and more people are turning to sustainable means of transport and this is what the Orbea Katu has been designed. Designed for small and tall riders alike you can use this ebike to navigate your city without the need for a car. Simple Shimano Nexus 8-speed internal gears means experienced and inexperienced riders alike can enjoy it and hydraulic disc brakes, combined with its lightweight gentle pedal assistance makes this e-bike practical an durable; an easy ebike or all to ride.
The Katu benefits from Orbea's excellent design and engineering, made in Orbea's factory in Spain. It is easy to manage with its 20" wheels and manoeuvrable and zippy when you want it to be. The front basket, which comes with the bike, is fixed to the headtube instead of handlebars or forks which means steering with a load is predictable and easy in tight corners. When parked up its sturdy double centre kickstand keeps it upright and stable when loaded or loading.
A really stylish, cool little bike that is just so handy and fun to use. Also included are integrated front and rear lights for the front and rear, mudguards, and a safety lock on the front wheel axle. An awesome way to get around.
Powered by the Bosch eBike System
Smooth, efficient long lasting power. The Orbea Katu E30 ebike is powered by the Bosch Active Line mid-drive system. With this motor you can expect a lovely smooth assistance without overwhelming the ride experience. The motor is matched with a 400Wh battery which provides a generous range of up to 100km and you operate the power through the new Bosch Purion centre mounted on-board computer. As you ride along you can choose from 5 power modes - off, eco, sport, touring, turbo - depending on the terrain you are riding and assistance you want.
