An EBike Designed for Gravel Adventures

The Focus Paralane2 Gravel Cross ebikes are based on the carbon road bike platform. They are lightweight and agile and, with the Focus-developed carbon fork and seatpost, it will provide a gentler ride on the rougher roads.

The bike itself comes with excellent running gear for optimum performance and also benefits from Focus' innovative R.A.T thru-axle system that adds stability, better shifting performance and durability. It also makes the Paralane2 very versatile bike in terms of the terrain it can handle and tyre options. 

The Paralane2 9.6 Gravel Cross comes equipped with the Shimano GRX R800 11-speed gearing system and GRX hydraulic disc brakes, which have been especially developed for the rigours required for gravel tiding. The Paralane2 Gravel Cross comes with the strong Alex Rims Boondocks wheels and 33C Vittoria Terreno Zero tires which deliver on hardpack and gravel surfaces.

Support at the Right Moment

Focus Paralane2 ebikes are powered by Fazua Evation mid-drive system, the lightest and most compact on the market. It offers up to 60Nm torque and Focus have developed their carbon frames to completely integrate the battery, while allowing it and the motor to be easily removed if required. Power control is provided via a bluetooth-ready Fazua remote that is mounted near your grips and offers three level of power - breeze, river and rocket, plus the option to ride with power off. 

The battery is 250Wh and there is much debate about how much range this provides! The philosophy behind the Paralane2 development is to provide support at the right moment and the bike itself has been developed so it is lightweight and easy to ride without power. This means that the range you will get from your battery is totally dependent on the terrain and riding conditions and the amount of support that you need. Various reviews and tests have clocked the battery range from 70km for a very hilly, windy ride to up to 1,000km for easy, flat long distance riding.
