A reinvention of the very popular Delite touring bike, the 2020 is a sleek, beautifully styled ebike that has been completely redesigned to accommodate the new Bosch CX Gen 4 motor and 500Wh Bosch powertube battery. Like its predecessor Delite models, it has the Riese & Muller Control Technology which offers front and rear suspension and a co-sprung rear carrier.
Combined with wide grippy tires, excellent hydraulic disc brakes, ergonomic grips and saddle, the overall effect has given the Delite its outstanding reputation for comfort and handing. In co-founder Heiko Muller's words the 2020 Delite family consolidates their 20+ years of experience and knowledge.

The Delite is powered by the Gen 4 Bosch CX motor which is Bosch's most powerful yet. The motor is significantly lighter and smaller, and offers an incredibly sporty ride. To accommodate the new motor Riese & Muller has completely redesigned the frame. The result is a clean and restrained design that streamlines the electrics into a look that makes it hard to distinguish it as an ebike. Gravity casting for the motor reinforces and beautifully integrates it and the Control Technology has been updated with a newly developed rear swing arm to provide an even sportier ride experience with optimum traction event at high speeds.
Integration is a key theme with the new design. From the powerful Supernova M99 lighting with integrated rear brake lights, the front and rear carriers, to the display and handlebars - all are neatly integrated into the design. If you opt for the SmartphoneHub or Kiox display options you will also get Riese & Muller's new clean cockpit design that offers an adjustable stem as well as tidies up all the wiring up front. New to the range this year is the barely noticeable lightweight pannier rack for those who want some luggage capacity and want to keep the minimalist look.

Ready For Anything. GX Option and Suspension Upgrades.
If you are looking for more offroad performance then you can take advantage of two excellent upgrades offered for the Riese & Muller Delite.
The "air suspension upgrade" swaps out the standard Suntour Aion forks with 100mm suspension to the Fox Float Performance air suspension fork with 100mm travel. This fork has the GRIP damping system which enables finer tuning with 15 adjustable rebound damping levels depending on your terrain.
The "GX" option ups the ante on the front travel to 140mm travel. This package turns it into a capable offroad machine by also adding offroad Razor Rock tires, and a dropper seatpost.

Riese & Muller Delite: Options and Upgrades
There are three Riese & Müller Delite models depending on gearing platforms, and you have the choice of two stunning matt frame colours and three sizes. You can also customise your bike with options such the offroad options mentioned above, add a front carrier, or change out the standard rear rack for a streamlined urban rear carrier. It comes with a Bosch Intuvia display as standard however an upgrade to the Bosch SmartphoneHUB or Bosch Kiox cockpit with adjustable stem is also available.

Ordering a Riese & Muller eBike
Riese & Muller offer a modern just-in-time order system so that you can configure the bike exactly the way you want if the ebikes we have in stock are not your preferred configuration. For immediate delivery you can opt for air freight (an extra $500) which usually takes 1-2 weeks from Germany after the bike is built. Otherwise sea freight is free of charge and generally takes 2-3 months. All ebikes are delivered to Electric Bikes Brisbane where we build them, test them and fit your accessories to ensure your ebike is as perfect as it can be for you take delivery.

The Riese & Muller Load 75 electric bike is the big daddy of Riese & Muller's cargo range. It has the most powerful motor of any cargo ebike on the market, the new Bosch Cargo Line, and the biggest cargo capacity in the Load series with a 75cm length platform and 200kg capacity.
