Designed for extreme comfort and ease of use. The Tern NBD S5i ebike is a new model in the Tern portfolio offering top quality and functionaility. It is "New Bike Day (NBD)"!

The NBD offers smaller and less confident riders the Tern toughness and utility in an ultra lowstep version that is extremely easy to use and manage. It has a 140kg carry capacity, 20" wheels, and an ultra low step frame that is paired with top componentry such as the belt drive and Shimano Nexus 5-speed internal gears which make it extremely easy to use and maintain.

The Tern NBD S5i is powered by the strong and quiet Bosch Performance Line motor which, with its 65Nm of torque, makes it an excellent hill climber with and without cargo. This is paired with a 500Wh battery for plenty of range and it has the large, easy-to-read Bosch Intuvia display. 

Its ultra low-step frame, combined with Tern's patented adjustable Andros stem, provides the flexibility to comfortably accommodate riders from 147cm - 190cm tall. It features the Tern Sweep handlebar which sits you comfortably upright with the Tern Easyride suspension seatpost to smooth out the bumps, and with the weight distribution and longer wheel base you can enjoy excellent stability and balance whilst riding.  

It also comes with the traditional Tern space saving features with ability to fold down the handlebars and store it vertically on its rack if you need. 

For accessories the NBD comes with some nice bells and whistles. It has a fully enclosed chainguard to stop skirts and trousers getting caught plus a strong 190 lumen front headlight, a rear light and Abus wheel lock. The rear rack itself can carry up to 27kg and Tern offers an excellent range of accessories for you to configure your Quick Haul for just how you plan to use it too. An incredibly useful 'daily ride'!
