Full-time Experienced Bicycle Mechanic & Sales wanted

Electric Bikes Brisbane is seeking an experienced mechanic, with sales & customer service experience, to join our team in our Milton store. We sell and service many types of premium electric bicycles - MTB, adventure, commuter, cargo, compact and also build custom electric bicycles. Your time will be in the workshop, and you’ll also spend time with customers on the sales floor.

The successful applicant must be proactive, self-sufficient, organised, clean and tidy. We are looking for someone with:

• Experience working on high-end bicycles with high standards and attention to detail;
• Ability to switch from the workshop to the sales floor;
• Ability to work in an organised and team-oriented manner, managing a high volume of enquiries and service jobs to completion;
• A positive, energetic and friendly personality to customers and the other staff;
• Excellent computer, point of sale, verbal and written communication skills;
• Willingness to work with scooters;
• Availability on Saturdays on a rotational basis.

Experience with electric bike drive systems such as Bosch, Shimano and Impulse would be awesome but not necessary. Applicants that can tune wheels, service hydraulic brakes and work with a range of gearing systems is a must.
