At Electric Bikes Brisbane we have been fitting Brisbane riders to premium e-bikes since 2013, and this range is for riders who will ride every day, carry their family, tour for weeks, or ride hard on the trails. We carry over 35 flagship bikes from Riese & Müller, Orbea, Focus, Kalkhoff, Tern and Amflow.

Choosing Your Flagship E-Bike
Front-Loader and Family Cargo E-Bikes
The Riese & Müller Load5 60 and Load5 75 are dual-suspension front-loaders. The Transporter2 65 is rated to 220kg for kids, dogs or business deliveries. The Carrie2 is a compact front-loader range including a belt / enviolo gearing option. If you prefer a longtail, the Tern GSD S10 is rated to 210kg and the Riese & Müller Multitinker2 Family to 200kg. See all cargo e-bikes.
Dual-Suspension Touring and Step-Through E-Bikes
The Riese & Müller Delite5 and Superdelite5 are long-distance tourers, and the Homage5 is a dual-suspension step-through often described as like riding on a cloud — the model Helen chose for her third Riese & Müller. The Nevo5 Automatic is a low step-through with fully automatic shifting and an 800Wh battery. The Kalkhoff Entice 7+ Excite ABS pairs Bosch's CX motor with an 800Wh battery and a 170kg rating. SUV and Carbon Gravel E-Bikes
The Orbea Muga is an athletic dual-suspension SUV, and the Muga 10 adds a carbon belt and Enviolo automatiq gearing — built for long days on and off-road, from the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail to forest roads. For fast gravel riding, the carbon Orbea Denna models use the Shimano EP801 motor, with electronic gearing on the Shimano Di2 and SRAM AXS models.
Flagship Electric Mountain Bikes
The Orbea Wild is the enduro choice, with Avinox power on the Wild LT (170mm travel) or Bosch CX on the Wild TR (150mm). The Rise LT uses Shimano's EP801-RS motor and lets you swap its 630Wh battery for a lighter 420Wh one. The Amflow PX Carbon Pro pairs Avinox power with a light carbon frame, and the Focus Vam2 SL 9.0 is our lightest trail eMTB. Frequently Asked Questions
What do you get over $10,000 that you do not get at $7,000?
Mostly, features rather than a better motor. The Bosch CX, Avinox and Shimano motors in this range also appear on bikes below $10,000. What you add here are ABS brakes, Rohloff gearing, dual batteries, suspension on cargo bikes, carbon frames and wheels, electronic gearing and the option to build the bike to your own specification. If one of those solves a real problem for you — braking a loaded bike downhill, touring for a week without charging, carrying kids in comfort — it is worth paying for. If not, our $7,000–$10,000 range is the smarter buy, and we will tell you so.
Can I build my own bike?
Yes, on many models. Orbea's MYO program lets you choose frame colours and upgrade components on many of its premium e-bikes, and the Riese & Müller configurator lets you choose battery size, gearing, suspension and accessories. We help you through the options, explain which upgrades matter for Brisbane riding, and confirm the likely delivery time before you order, because custom builds are made to order.
Rohloff, Enviolo or derailleur gears — which should I choose?
It depends on how you ride. Rohloff E-14 is an electronic 14-speed hub, sealed inside the rear wheel and paired with a carbon belt. It has a wide gear range and needs very little maintenance, which makes it the touring rider's choice. Enviolo, especially the automatic version, has no fixed gears at all — it simply adjusts as you ride, which suits city riding, cargo bikes and riders who do not want to think about gears. A derailleur is lighter and more efficient on steep off-road climbs, which is why our eMTBs use one.
Do I need ABS on an e-bike?
You do not need it, but it makes the biggest difference on heavy bikes and in poor conditions. A loaded tourer or cargo bike carries a lot of momentum, and ABS helps stop the front wheel locking when you brake hard on wet roads, loose gravel or a steep descent. If you plan to tour loaded, carry passengers or ride in all weather, it is worth test-riding a bike with ABS back-to-back with one without.
Can my Bosch CX bike be upgraded to 120Nm?
Many can. Bosch's Performance Upgrade 2.0, released in May 2026 through the eBike Flow app, lets riders increase the torque of the Gen 5 Performance Line CX to up to 120Nm, with the maximum set by each bike brand. This applies to many of the CX-powered Orbea, Focus, Kalkhoff and Riese & Müller bikes on this page. Ask us what your bike supports — we are a Bosch Accredited Service Centre.
