Compact and agile despite its impressive 200kg total carrying capacity, it provides a practical alternative to the car for school drop-offs, commuting, shopping and everyday errands. Its proven Shimano Nexus 5-speed internal hub, straightforward chain drive and carefully selected equipment package deliver the Multitinker experience at the most economical price point in the range.

Bosch Performance Line PX power with a removable 625Wh battery. The Multitinker2 Family is powered by the Bosch Performance Line PX, delivering strong, responsive assistance that can be upgraded from 75Nm to 90Nm via the Bosch Flow app. It is paired with a removable Bosch PowerTube 625Wh battery and Bosch Purion 200 display, providing a clean, intuitive cockpit for managing assistance and essential ride information.

Simple Shimano Nexus 5-speed gearing built for everyday use. A Shimano Nexus Inter-5E internal gear hub gives the Multitinker2 Family five easy-to-use gears controlled by a simple grip shifter. The enclosed hub keeps the shifting system neatly protected and allows you to select a gear while stationary – particularly handy when stopping and starting with a loaded cargo bike. A KMC X1 chain and 52T chainring complete this practical, dependable drivetrain.

Compact 20-inch platform with serious carrying capability. Small 20-inch wheels help keep the Multitinker2 manoeuvrable and the load positioned low for confident handling around busy streets and tight urban spaces. Its extended rear carrier can carry up to 70kg and can be configured with Riese & Müller passenger and family accessories for transporting children or additional cargo. With a total permitted weight of up to 200kg including the rider, it's built for genuine everyday utility.

Comfortable and adaptable for different riders. The one-size Multitinker2 platform is designed to accommodate riders approximately 1.50–2.00m tall, making it easy for different members of the household to share the bike. An adjustable-height and angle stem, 80mm Suntour Mobie 34 CGO Boost suspension fork and Schwalbe Motion Pick Up cargo tyres help provide a comfortable, controlled ride even when the bike is carrying a substantial load.

Quality safety and everyday equipment comes standard. Powerful Magura MT5 hydraulic disc brakes provide dependable stopping performance, while the Supernova Mini 2 Pro front light improves visibility for everyday commuting. The Multitinker2 Family also comes equipped with mudguards, a sturdy Riese & Müller kickstand, Trelock RS561 frame lock with 150cm lock chain and RX Chip. Optional Family, Family Plus, Passenger and Cargo Kits allow the rear of the bike to be configured around how you intend to use it.
