The Riese & Müller Charger5 Mixte Vario is a premium touring eBike renowned for its exceptional ride quality, refined engineering and everyday versatility. The distinctive Mixte frame features a lowered top tube for increased standover clearance and easier mounting and dismounting, while retaining the composed, stable handling of the Charger5 platform.

Powerful Gen 5 Bosch CX with 800Wh battery. Powered by the Bosch Smart System and Gen 5 Performance Line CX motor, the Charger5 Mixte delivers strong, responsive assistance for hills, commuting and long-distance touring. The large 800Wh Bosch PowerTube battery provides excellent capacity for longer rides, with the option to add a Bosch PowerMore 250Wh Range Extender. The premium Kiox 500 display provides comprehensive ride information, navigation and connected Smart System functionality.

Built for comfort, control and durability. A Fox AWL 34 Air Boost suspension fork provides 100mm of travel, while the By.Schulz G.2 ST suspension seatpost adds further comfort over rough roads and paths. Wide Schwalbe Super Moto-X tyres on robust 27.5-inch Rodi Tryp35 Evo rims provide excellent cushioning and stability. An adjustable stem lets you fine-tune your riding position, with a Comfort handlebar option available for riders who prefer a more relaxed, upright position.

Enviolo continuous gearing with Gates belt drive. The Vario model combines an Enviolo Utility V1 internal gear hub with the intuitive Twist Display Pure shifter, allowing smooth, stepless adjustment of the gearing. It is paired with a clean, quiet and durable Gates CDX carbon belt drive, making the Charger5 Mixte Vario particularly well suited to riders looking for easy operation and low drivetrain maintenance. Powerful Magura hydraulic disc brakes provide dependable stopping performance, with ABS available as an option.

Premium equipment and 160kg carrying capacity. The Charger5 Mixte Vario comes comprehensively equipped for commuting and touring, with a Supernova Mini 3 Pro front light, AXA Juno Signal LED rear light, MIK rear carrier, Curana mudguards and an ABUS Granit XPlus lock with 130cm Adaptor Chain. An Ergon ST10 Gel saddle and ergonomic grips add further comfort, while its 160kg total carrying capacity including the rider provides plenty of versatility for luggage and everyday gear.
