Premium long-distance tourer and commuter. Sporty, Comfortable. The Riese & Muller Charger5 Vario is an agile all-rounder. It offers the manoevrability of a mountain bike and the comfort of a touring bike. Enjoy first class workmanship, premium components and accessories and a platform that rides as beautifully as it looks. The Vario models are equipped with enviolo 380 continuous gearing and a Gates Belt Drive for lower maintenance and ease of use.
Strong Bosch Gen 5 CX motor. 800Wh battery. Kiox 500 display. The Charger5 Vario is powered by the Bosch Gen 5 CX motor, the strongest of Bosch's motors, with the large 800Wh battery. A powerful combination and very versatile and tuneable. Enjoy up to 120Nm for serious climbing performance and if you require even more range, add a Bosch Powermore250 range extender. The Kiox 500 display is the largest and most premium display and can be used with the Bosch SmartphoneGrip.
Equipped for durability, purpose and comfort. The Charger5 platform is built to be tough and comfortable for long-distance riding. It has the tough Fox 34 AWL air fork with 100mm travel and rolls on strong 27.5" RodiTryp35 wheels. Our stock models are equipped with the offroad kit Wide all-terrain Schwalbe Johnny Watts 365 tires provide great traction and comfort and this is rounded out with an adjustable cockpit and suspension seatpost.
Premium Accessories and 160kg load rating. The Charger5 Vario is rated to an impressive 160kg load rating, for riders up to 125kg, and comes conveniently equipped with premium accessories. Included with the ebike is integrated Supernova headlight and rear tail light with option for integrated brake light, a tough Abus Granit XPlus wheel lock with extra chain, Selle Royal comfort saddle and a sturdy MIK HD rear rack with 27kg load rating for carrying your gear.
