All Mountain Carbon eMTB featuring Fox Factory and XT.  The Focus Jam2 8.9 eMTB is a top-of-the-range model in the new all-mountain carbon Jam2 range.  Focus have upped the ante with some big upgrades on their popular Jam2 series including 4-bar linkage and a brand new frame to accommodate the Smart System Bosch CX motor and 750Wh battery.  Plus you still get all of the features riders love - Fox 36 Factory Fork with 160mm travel, 4-piston XT brakes, XT 12-speed gears and a Magic Mary/ Big Betty Trail soft tyre combo.

Bosch Smart System. You get the Bosch 750Wh powertube battery as standard, which means more laps, bigger days, or more time in Turbo. Download the Bosch eBike flow app to unlock customisable rider modes, fitness and performance data, as well as security features. Add the Bosch eBike Alarm and Connect Module to add a integrated 100dB alarm and GPS tracking to your pride and joy.

Ground Up Frame Redesign. To accomodate the new 750Wh Bosch Smart System power tube battery Focus rotated the Bosch Race CX motor to allow the battery to sit low in the down tube and help keep the weight low down in the bike.

The battery is still removable however to increase frame stiffness and reduce weight the opening for battery removal is at the bottom of the downtube, protected by a sturdy skid plate. This means the frame wall thickness can be reduced to deliver the same stiffness at a lower weight than the previous larger cut out dual wall frame design.

The Jam2 8.9 eMTB has a full carbon frame with alloy chain stay and rocks a stunning two-tone paint finish. The Jam2 bikes also now have a fully active 4-bar rear suspension linkage. This means more traction everywhere and it delivers a more progressive rear end. Paired with a Fox Float X piggy-back shock, you can tune your ride to your heart's content.
