Ground Up Frame Redesign - new Carbon frame with 4-Bar Linkage. To accomodate the 750Wh battery Focus rotated the motor to allow the battery to sit low in the down tube and help keep the weight low down in the bike.  The Jam2 8.9 eMTB has a full carbon frame with alloy chain stay and the Jam2 bikes also now have a fully active 4-bar rear suspension linkage. This means more traction everywhere and it delivers a more progressive rear end. Paired with a Fox 36 Float Factory fork and Fox Float X piggy-back shock, you can tune your ride to your heart's content.

Excellent running gear.  Blast the trails up and down with 4-piston Shimano XT brakes, XT 12-speed gears and a Magic Mary/ Big Betty Trail soft tyre combo.
