Easier to ride. Lower to maintain. Super cool. The Tern GSD is renowned as a strong, safe family carrier and is famous for its ability to easily carry two children onboard. The "R14" version is the top model and features the excellent Rohloff E-14 gearing with belt drive with the top Magura MT5 4-piston brakes.

Being an "LX" it is also equipped with an extra-strong headlight with high and low beam, a rear brake light and a thudbuster suspension seatpost.

The GSD R14 ebike is powered by the strongest of Bosch's motors, the Bosch Cargo Line with 85Nm torque and 400% assist in turbo. It comes with a 500Wh battery and is ready to take a second 500Wh if you need it.  

Handlebars and stem can be easily adjusted to suit different rider heights and Tern estimate it suits riders from 150cm to 195cm in height. Your ride position will always be comfortable with the easy adjustability of the patented Andros stem and telescopic seatpost and the thudbuster suspension seatpost provides extra comfort on rougher surfaces.

It also has a lower step through frame that makes it easy to get on and off and you will love the stable Atlas kickstand which with its remote lever to unlock and allow it to fold as you roll forward.

The Tern GSD R14 rolls along on strong purpose-made wheels that have balloon puncture resistant tires which add extra traction and extra comfort. It is one of the few cargo ebikes available that has the superb electronic Rohloff gears, with a phenomenal range of 14 gears, lightning fast shifting and auto downshift. With the carbon belt drive this combination is very easy to use and ultra low maintenance.
