Kalkhoff organises its range into three model families. Once you understand the difference, choosing becomes much simpler.
- Endeavour — Trekking and Commuter: smoother road-oriented tyres, an upright but slightly sportier geometry, built to cover distance comfortably for daily commuting, bikeway networks and longer touring.
- Entice — All-Terrain All-Rounder: our most popular Kalkhoff family, with a more off-road-oriented tyre tread and sportier geometry for daily commuting, weekend rail trail runs, gravel paths, creek crossings and longer adventures. Brisbane City Council chose the Entice for its own fleet bikes monitoring bikeways and footpaths across the city.
- Image — Urban Comfort: Dutch-style upright riding position, suspension seatpost, internal gearing for low-maintenance city riding, and a clean integrated look for everyday town riding.
Riding Kalkhoff in Brisbane — What to Expect

Every Kalkhoff in our range is powered by a Bosch mid-drive system, manufactured and serviced in Germany, across four platforms:
- Bosch Gen 5 Performance Line CX: the sportiest, most responsive motor in the current range — fitted across Level 7+ dual suspension models and select Level 3 models.
- Bosch Performance PX: a Smart System motor used across several 2026 models for confident, everyday power delivery.
- Bosch Performance Line: the proven, reliable workhorse motor still used across a number of models for everyday commuting and touring.
- Bosch SX: the lightweight motor platform used in Level L models, for a nimbler, more natural pedalling feel.
Understanding the Kalkhoff Model Numbers
Within each family, the number in the model name tells you the specification level:
- Level 1 — Entry level. German engineering and Bosch motors at an accessible price point.
- Level 3 — Mid-range. Fully integrated battery and a clean, modern look. Popular for everyday Brisbane riders.
- Level 5 and 5+ — Premium. Belt drive, heavy-duty 170kg+ rating, or both.
