Bosch itself has just entered the hub-drive market for the first time with its new Hub Line motor, launched in mid-2026 for lightweight city bikes — but that's a different product for a different job, and the first bikes using it aren't expected in Australia until 2027. For hills, load-carrying and longer distances, mid-drive remains the stronger choice.
Which Bosch motor should I choose for Brisbane's hills versus everyday commuting?
