The Focus Thron2 6.9 ebike is the range-topper in the family and has the high-performing Fox 34 suspension, DT Swiss wheelset, Shimano XT 12-speed gearing and a dropper seatpost. With the 29er wheels and wide 2.6" tyres you have fast rolling stable trail performance and the Gen 4 Bosch CX motor with 625Wh battery allows you to get to places you may never have thought possible. The Focus Thron2 dual suspension eMTB family with its 130mm front and rear travel, 29er wheels and comfortable geometry offers a great entry-level ebike to a beginner or intermediate mountain biker, and a really comfortable rail trail and leisure riding ebike.
The Thron2 family is powered by the Gen 4 Bosch Performance CX motor, which is smaller and lighter than its predecessor, and packs even more of a punch out on trail when climbing with its recent upgrade to 85Nm torque. The Thron2 6.9 ebike comes with a handy dropper seatpost and a fully integrated and removable Bosch powertube 625Wh battery for excellent range and longer days in the saddle.

With the Focus Thron2 eMTB the emphasis is on comfort and fun with its less aggressive geometry. Focus' proprietary F.O.L.D. suspension system allows the chainstay to work efficiently in an intuitive manner while the suspension absorbs the bumps. An excellent range of 12 gears is provided with the Shimano SLX shifting system and 4-piston hydraulic brakes provide stable reliable stopping power.
There are two other more economical models in the Thron2 range - see the Focus Thron2 6.7 if you prefer a 500Wh battery; or the Focus Thron2 6.8 ebike if you still want a 625Wh battery and don't require the high performance of the Fox 34 suspension and Shimano SLX gearing.
There is also the Focus Thron2 6.8 EQP ebike available this year for those wanting a comfortable bikepacking ebike that can handle single track.

It is a sporty electric bike that can be an urban all-rounder one day and long-distance bikepacker the next. It is powered by the Gen 4 Bosch Performance CX mid-drive system and comes with an easily removable fully integrated powertube 625Wh battery, with option of adding a second battery for extra distance. The Aventura2 6.8 is fully equipped with tough offroad wheels and tires and comes with integrated lights, rear rack, mudguards and front suspension that makes for practical all-round riding.
