Which Avinox Bike Is Right for You?
All Avinox bikes use one of two motor variants. Understanding which suits your riding makes the choice between platforms straightforward:
- Avinox M2S (up to 1,500 W peak, 150 Nm peak torque): Used in the Amflow PX Carbon, Amflow PR Carbon Pro, and most Orbea Wild LT models. The Amflow PX with a fixed 700 Wh battery unlocks the full 1,500 W across all modes.
- Avinox M2 (1,100 W peak, 125 Nm peak torque): Used in the Amflow PR Carbon base model and one Orbea Wild LT model. Consistent output across all compatible batteries — a strong all-round performer suited to riders coming to Avinox for the first time.

Are Avinox electric bikes legal to ride in Queensland?
Yes — all Avinox bikes carry EN 15194 certification with a 250 W continuous-rated power output, which is the standard that determines legal classification in Australia. The motor cuts off at 25 km/h and this is enforced by firmware for the Australian region. What is the difference between the Amflow and Orbea Wild LT Avinox bikes?
The most significant difference is trail category. Amflow bikes are Category 4 all-mountain eMTBs. Orbea Wild LT models are Category 5 enduro and downhill-capable eMTBs — a step up in geometry, suspension travel, and build spec for more demanding terrain.
On the motor side, most Amflow and Orbea Wild LT models use the Avinox M2S, with the exception of the Amflow PR Carbon base (M2) and the Orbea Wild LT H20 (M2). Amflow bikes run the standard Avinox motor map; the Orbea Wild LT uses the Orbea RS Tune — 750 W in regular modes (UCI race-legal out of the box) and 1,300 W in Boost.
